» February 3rd 2009 « New shows and the new album have a release date

In the Live section, you can now see 2 new shows coming up. The first one is in Växjö (Sweden)on March 27, where we haven't played since 1995, so we hope to fill Kaskaden in Folkets Park to the maximum. The next show after that will be in Germany on the Kings of Black Metal Festival, together with friends Watain, Mayhem and Dark Funeral among others. That massacre will be held in Giessen at Hessenhallen on April 18.

From the studio, we can report that all drums, guitars, lead guitars and the bass have now been recorded and tomorrow it's time for the demonic vocals to be recorded. As you may already have read on several music news pages and net magazines, the title of the new beast will be "Death To All". The album will be released on April 27. More info will follow...

» December 21st 2008 « X-mass show in Stockholm and the new album is being recorded

On the 26nd December we will play at Mosebacke and it will be the first time with the new line-up. In stead of dancing around the fucking Christmas tree, we suggest that you attend to the show and show us the sign of the horn, in true satanic style.
For tickets, click on the flyer...

We can also tell you that the recording of the new album is happening as we speak. So far, all the thundering drums have been recorded. This time we bought ourselves our own studio, as we have been our own producers since some albums back, but as last time on "Hrimthursum" we work in close relation with Fredrik Folkare (guitarist in Unleashed) as some sort of supervisor and he will also be in charge for the mixing of the album. We have also used Anders Bentell, engineer of the last album, for help with the thundering drum sound.

» October 23rd 2008 « New member in the band and a new album is in progress

NECROPHOBIC is from now on a 5 piece strong legion!
During 2008 the band did a number of shows as a 5 piece with Erik Danielsson (Watain) as a session member. This made Necrophobic come to think of continue on a new path and develop the live performances as the new live impression was much better. We are proud to present the new bass player, Alex Friberg, 26. He possesses demonical skills on the bass and fits the band perfect both musically and mentally.
New photos in the Band section and new high resoluted promotion photos in the Media section.

Further news is that we are soon ready to enter the studio again to record the 6th full length studio album. All material is written and the new beast is planned to hit the streets in February/March 2009.
The album is yet untitled, but some titles for the songs are For Those who Stayed Satanic, Triumph of the Horned, Wings of Death, The Tower, Revelation 666 to name a few.

No titles of either the album or any songs will be released at this moment, but as soon as it's time for it, you will get the information here.
There are a lot of new things happening right now. The studio we're using for this album is a total unknown studio. It's called House of Voodoo Studio and we will work with new persons as well. The engineering parts will be done by Anders Bentell and Fredrik Folkare (the later known for being guitarist and producer of Unleashed).
Apart from that, we will also have a new record label for this new album. We recently ended the deal of any forthcoming new albums with Karmageddon Media (ex Hammerheart Records). More revelaling stuff regarding this matter later on, as well as a possible release schedule/release date.

Today, we made the decision to delete our first edition of the Necrobook. For some reason, we got a lot of spam messages beyond our control. It took too much time to deal with all that. We would like to thank our real visitors for commenting this page and/or the band. We are now working on a new edition of the Necrobook which hopefully will be online within short.

    » August 16th 2005 « Back in Sweden - New beginning

We're back in Stockholm, Sweden again after an intense weekend in Germany at the Party San festival. We would like to thank all staff for taking such good care of us and for great hospitality. BUT most of all, thanks to the great audience! This was our third appearance on Party San and this was clearly the best response. We will most likely come back. Maybe sooner than you think. We also want to send out greetings to all we met during the weekend (fans, press, bands) and extra greetings to all that came to our signing session. Our hands still ache...
Note: Those of you that took photos of us, wherever, whenever...don't forget to send them to us to be published here on the website under the Fanzone section.

Now starts the new beginning for the band. We will now focus on to write the final pieces of music and lyrics for the upcoming recording of our 5th studio album. Most of the material is already written, but needs to be rehearsed. People attending to the Party San festival got the chance to hear one of the new songs, called "Blinded by Light, Enlightened by Darkness" and we can say that most of the new material will be in that way. The recording studio is not decided yet, but most likely, we'll be doing a test recording in an "unknown" studio, for the metal scene, that is.

There are more news to come withing short, so stay "tuned"...

     » February 11th 2005 « New website online

We finally did it! A re-design of the website. We hope you like it and find it easier to navigate in this design. The old website grew alot bigger than expected and it was a bit hard in the end to make the easy solution for visitors to find everything. We'll keep things like that in mind from now on.

So, what's happening with the band for the moment? We're rehearsing the new songs for the upcoming album that we plan to release around summertime. We have a working title of it, but we keep that as a secret just a little longer, until we feel it's 100% decided. The new material is faster than we have delivered for quite a while. We are all very thrilled about it.

On the live front then...For now, we only have one festival booked for us this summer and it's the Party San festival in Bad Berka, Germany. We all look forward coming back to it (it'll be our third performance on that festival) and it seems it will be an awesome line-up this year. Until then, we will focus on to complete material for the new album, but hopefully, we'll be able to play more festivals during this summer. Keep yourselves posted by checking back here on a regular basis.

OK, that's it for this time. Take some time to navigate the new website.
